The aluminum Shimano XT BL-M8200 brake lever has been refined with evolved ergonomics and the human hand in mind, delivering a powerful pull with consistent lever feel and modulation for ultimate control. A new closer pivot point follows the natural arc of your finger, while the dialed reach adjust puts the rider in a natural position to attack technical sections of trail. Redesigned SERVO WAVE optimizes the power curve and manages pad-to-rotor friction throughout the lever pull for better balanced braking, while Shimano’s new low viscosity mineral oil keeps power consistent over a wider range of temperatures.
- ✓ Shimano low viscosity mineral oil creates a reliable and strong power curve in all temperatures and terrains
- ✓ Smooth SERVO WAVE action optimizes the power curve and manages pad-to-rotor friction throughout the lever pull for better balanced braking
- ✓ New lever shape and pivot points and improved reach adjust make the BL-M8200 a comfortable fit for all types of riders
- ✓ Aluminum lever blade utilizes Shimano’s tried and true stamping process for strength with weight savings
- ✓ Updated cable routing creates a clean aesthetic
- ✓ I-SPEC EV compatible for a wider adjustment range
- ✓ Pair the BL-M8200 with the BR-M8220 Enduro caliper for maximum stopping power and control in rough terrain, or the BR-M8200 XC caliper for a more weight-conscious set-up (caliper sold separately)
