Another key feature is the new carbon cage geometry extended to 92.5 mm, compatible with cassettes up to 48 teeth and ideal for tackling the steepest climbs. The result is smooth, fast, precise, and silent shifting, even in the most extreme conditions. Furthermore, thanks to its compatibility with the 1x road crankset with a 45.8 mm chain line, the X Rear Derailleur allows single-chainring road bikes to be configured with the widest range of gear ratios available on the market.
