Simply depress the thumb lever to open, then let the tool’s spring-assist jaw closure latch onto any cog from 10-24T with 6 points of secure, slip-free contact. And if more lockring torque than usual is required, extend the handle and add leverage by using an 8mm L-handle hex wrench in the handle’s 8mm receiver.
