The four-piston, two-piece BR-M8220 caliper is the strongest in the M8200 family, made to maximize power, consistency, and control. New, Shimano low viscosity oil keeps the M8220 brakes’ bite point consistent in all trail and weather conditions, and new brake pads eliminate rattling noise caused by vibration. Increased power and consistency give riders pin-point control on rough trails.
- Updated seals and Shimano Low Viscosity Oil provide a reliable bite point in all temperatures and trail conditions
- Predictable DH-capable power curve has been perfected for the rigors of enduro racing and all-day trail riding
- Dual diameter 4-piston caliper design provides high braking power and excellent control
- Revised finned metal pads and oval mount eliminate unnecessary noise
- Heat resistant resin pistons
- Shimano RT-CL900 or RT-CL800 rotors recommended (sold separately)
